Briefily Describe your Artwork
To me Switzerland is about living in small towns, and dorfs, having friends in Vereins, and meeting them in festivals, especially during summer. My two sketches were done as an urbansketch to record a musical event and a summer festival in a small town called Wohlen, Aargau. Why always feature the big and mighty, beauty lies everywhere.
What motivated you to create this work of art and how do you identify with it?
I am part of this community, and as an urbansketcher, I am constantly recording life with my pen and pencil.
How do you think art could lead to more sustainable behavior in society?
Art invokes observation and makes one think. An image can create a long-lasting impact, and art in everyday objects, and household products is very beneficial for the acceptance of ‚art‘ across society. It may generate more art lovers.
